Gunners Mode: Spiralling Down ?

Arsenal is in a very sad state right now.

I was looking forward for spuds thrashing on our derby match. But nooo.... What we got, is a freakin defensive mess. 2 goal advantage crushed in 2 minutes. That was just sick.

And the game against Stoke, everyone was a let down. Yes. EVERYONE!!!! RVP included!!! Why la must u do that bro.. Damn..

And to think about our next league opponent, Man Utd!?? God.. save my face please..

How I Met Your Mother Kids..

Im currently watching the 1st season of "How I Met Your Mother". Copied from my lil bro's portable HD. The show is so addictively funny!

How I Met Your Mother will now rank 2nd of my most favourite sitcom of all times, fighting stiff competitions with the first, "Two and a half Men". Reaching 4th seasons, prolly How I met your mother will earn that number one sweet spot.

Of all the five main characters, Barney Stintson played by Neil Patrick Harris (ex-Doogie Howser MD) is the most funniest. Barney is a cocky & confident womanizer, lives by his "Bro Code" rules, and always wears a suit. He claims himself to be the bestfriend of Ted Mosby (the main character) although Ted often disagrees with him on this one.

He's favourite tagline is "Suit up!" where he tells Ted to dress smartly like him. He's trying very hard to show everyone his 'Awesome-ness' in a cocky & funny kind of way, but always end up getting in trouble for his "Legen ~ wait fot it.. DARY" scheme on helping Ted to find the love of his life.

I just love the show. Even Friends cant tickle my funny bones like this one. Cant wait to get back home and continue. Cheerios..

Gunners Mode: Adakah Gallas punca ?

We have gone through 2 tough games without Gallas. And both games we emerge victorius!

One is the league game against Everton (3-1) and the other was an away game against Fenerbache (5-2). Great scoreline. But if were talking about the goals conceded, itu cerita lain la pulak kan. But at the end of the day, the result is all that matters.

Since Gallas was out due to hamstring problem, Silvestre debuted as central defence pairing with Toure.

cop cop.. tweet...

Any of u guys still feel awkward watching fish face Silvestre in the red & white? I still do. Rasa cam pelik jer..

ok, continue..

My personal opinion is, I could feel the good vibe with the team when Silvestre plays. Feeling yg mcm confident & yakin je kita boleh menang at all cost, so just relax and wait. Maybe its just the fact that Gallas is not playing, and maybe if we put another defender instead of Silvestre in Gallas position, we might even get the same results. Or maybe even better. Who knows rite.

My point is, the game results just prove my gut instincts right in some way. Gallas is indeed the black sheep, the culprit, or bak kata pepatah melayu lama ketika hang tuah memaki hang jebat.. "punca siot Gallas ni!!". And the fact that he's our captain just make things worst.

Aku nak cerita kat korang pasal idea conspiracy theory aku.. (ok i know its only my own pure imagination jer.. but.. lantak lah..).

There's a reason why Wenger bought Silvestre, apart from the 'we need experience player' bit. The special reason is.. to oust Gallas. Right now, Gallas can be considered as a big influence in the team, and somehow a bad one. He is the loudmouth captain. Any of you guys remembered how he trash talk Wenger during pre-season 2006? Right before he was appointed team captain? he suxx..

Maksud aku bukannye Silvestre akan ganti Gallas terus. Maybe Wenger have another younger & better candidate to fill in the central defence, but its hard to just drop Gallas straight away. Kalau tak for sure dia 'baling dia punya tantrum sekeliling'. That'll effect the team morale, and the performance to follow.

BUT.. if Wenger substitute someone with the same experience as Gallas, someone who had also achieved quite a number of trophies (or even more), someone cool headed and also 30-ish of age, Gallas will just have to agree with Wengers decision without much to say.

So.. maybe Silvestre will continue to play for quite some time until Gallas give up, and just left. Bila Gallas dah takde, boleh la kita axe terus Silvestre, get another younger & better defender, and start to rule over the world !! Mbuahahahahaha..!!! (sorry.. psycho lebih plak mcm pinky and the brain).

Ntah.. kalau korang boleh dapat some common sense in my conspiracy theory idea, bagus lah. Kalau tak, er.. lagi bagus, hahahaha.

Watch over you

This song is played constantly in my life. I can just relate so well to it. Not just for me, but for a certain someone out there as well..

~Watch Over You~

Leaves are on the ground
Fall has come
Blue skies turning grey
Like my love

I tried to carry you
And make you whole
But it was never enough
I must go

Who is gonna save you when I'm gone?
And who'll watch over you
When I'm gone?

You say you care for me
But hide it well
How can you love someone
And not yourself?

And when I'm gone
Who will break your fall?
Who will you blame?
I can't go on
And let you lose it all

It's more than I can take
Who'll ease your pain?
Ease your pain

And Love is gonna save you when I'm gone
And I'll watch over you
And I will give you strength when you're not strong

Who'll watch over you
When I've gone away?

Snow is on the ground
Winters come
You long to hear my voice
But I'm long gone

Blackbird

Finally rock music is back!

Being a fan of Creed, I personally thought that the guys would finally loose it in post-Scott Stapp era. But the introduction of Myles Kennedy brings the group (now known as Alter Bridge) to an entirely new level, far better than Creed.

Myles Kennedy was one of a rare breed 4-octave range rock singers in this era who can beat the crap out of the old drunkard Stapp's baritone voice. Not only he can sing, he's also good with instruments (owh, he was a guitar instructor just before his Mayfield Four era). Combining his dynamics with the Grammy award winning guitarist Mark Tremonti's skills(shred or no-shred), they create magical song wonders with their creativity.

Enter "Blackbird", their 2nd album to date, released about a year ago.

One particular song that stands out from the rest is the title track, Blackbird. I was totally mesmerized by this song. A long good 8 minutes music arrangement, life reflecting lyrics, killer solos, everything falls perfectly into place. Its one of those magic songs, kinda like Led Zep's 'Stairway to Heaven', or Guns n Roses 'November Rain'. Although underrated, for me Blackbird remains as one of the top notch legacy songs ever written & produced.

I consider it a masterpiece art.

Checkout this album. Mark's guitar work and Myles' singing will leave you guys stunned.

Blackbird

The willow it weeps today
A breeze from a distance
Is calling your name
Unfurl your black wings and wait
Across the horizons coming to sweep you away
Its coming to sweep you away

The fragile can not endure
The wrecked and the and jaded a place so impure
The static of this cruel world
Cause some birds to fly long before they've seen their day
long before they've seen their day

Let the wind carry you home
Blackbird fly away
Beyond the suffering you’ve known
I hope you find your way
May you never be broken again

Ascend may you find no resistance
Know that you've made such a difference
All you leave behind will live to the end
The cycle of suffering goes on
But the memories of you stay strong
Someday I too will fly and find you again

The ties that bind

Ive teared on the leash that keeps me contained and controlled

let me go, I want to break free

and fight my way out of this hole

One last hope to rise and break away

above the fading line.

This I know..

the risk is worth the gain, it's worth the sacrifice

Way beyond the ties that bind

Amen to that.

The epitome of struggle

These last few weeks have been tough. But this particular week takes tough to a different new level.

Ujian demi ujian..

Emotionally..

Physically..

Mentally..

and even Financially..

Sometimes when you are at your lowest point in life, you can only resort to Him for guidance. KepadaNya sahaja aku berserah everything. Everything.. Aku redha dgn dugaanNya.

All these bad occurances are of course hard to digest, even though at one point in life all this will toughen up one's heart and makes one a better person.

But to get through this before reaching that point of looking back, only God knows how hard it is to be.

As for me, this time Im taking all these on my own. Carrying this heavy weight on my own trusty old shoulders. Nobody needs to know except Him. Im not trying to prove anything to anyone anyway.

Life's imperfect. We can only aim to get as closest as we can get to the line, but we can never be in that line ourselves.

As the finest shine of reality blinded by unstable emotional dissatisfaction, it takes time for one to realize the real meaning and reason for everything to be, as they are to be.

And when that time comes, he/she may finally obtained the true meaning of life's happiness. InsyaAllah.

My prayer n blessing for that person goes all the way. Ameen.

Gunners Mode: What the hull just happened ???

Its been the third day since D-day. And I'm still dumbstruck by what just happened. Total freakin clueless.

How could we, 1st of all:

Lost to Hull??? Be it away or home ???

Lost at the Grove in front of our home fans ???

Its only a month plus since the league started, and we have registered 2 losses already ???

Im calling for the heads of Gallas & Adebayor for this one. Gallas for a very very poor marking & defending on set pieces. While Adebayor, for being too chicken shit to score when open opportunity was due. Why the hell did you need to pass the ball around summore when a clear shot opportunity was already there in front of you ??!! just kick the damn ball damn it !! Are you even a striker for God sake !!??? Kau ni darah gemuruh ker haa ????!!!???

Even Wenger pun mengamuk. He's blaming on the defensive lapse (again). I think we gave them too much space to run the show with their physical approach. Cmonnn... its not even the top four team yet. Suxxx betul. Kalau macam ni lah main, we will just simply put our necks out to be slithered at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge & even Anfield. And this time around, even at Wigan's.

We will welcome Porto on Raya's eve for the next CL game. I dont know how are we going to turn things around. Totally clueless. Probably just let the 2nd string play in all games for Arsenal, maybe they will fair better. Ntahlah. Wenger, do something. All i wanna see is the results.

Takde mood. Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir Batin to Faze, Taiko n all. Chow.

Surat P&C

Harini aku agak kebosanan di office. Lagi 3 hari nak cuti raya. Virus M.A.L.A.S. mula berjangkit ke seluruh badan dan otak. Instead of buat kerja, aku buat buat kerja, huhu. Dari segi formula fiziknya:

K = B.F.g / (BX)^2

K = Kerja
F = Facebook
B = Blog hopping
g = goal.com
(BX)^2 = Bos takde dua hari :)

Alaa.. dateline lepas raya, i can manage, heee.... (mayday! procrastinator tegar on the loose!)

Tiba2 tadi bos besar department aku (Sr. GM level) keluar bilik dia n start handing out letters to all staffs. Time turn aku, dia salam kuat semacam jer sambil senyum. Congrats, katanya.

Aku duduk, slow2 bukak letter tu.. Alhamdulillah..

Secara tiba-tiba dan automatic, tangan aku bergerak & jadi lebih pro-active plak. Siap buat schedule untuk estimated future projects lagi padahal seminggu lepas raya baru nak kena present.

Perghh.. luar kawalan betul kuasa surat keramat tu.

Gunners Mode: Bolton Blitzkrieg

Whooeyyy!!

Q: Final scoreline?
A: 3-1 scoreline at Reebok Stadium. Our goals coming from (Amri's my name is)Eboue, Bendtner & Denilson. Kevin Davies put the home side ahead earlier though.

Q: The one thing yg buat aku tersangat2 impress?
A: DENILSON PEREIRA NEVES...!!! woot woot..!! woot woot..!! Infact, I think he outshone Fabregas that nite. I just came to know that this guy is currently the captain of the Brazil under-20 national team.

Q: The one thing yg buat aku tersangat2 tidak impress?
A: Our defends!! Sakit jantung everytime we have to defend from corner or freekick. Marking theresa-ngat haunt-choose (get it?) :p An easy goal from Kevin Davies without a hassle.

Q: The one thing yg buat aku mengeleng in frustration?
A: Why do we have this knack of having to go 1-0 down first before getting the engine fired up. Why cant we just play like we're losing and chasing goals mentality from the start of kick-off?

Q: The one thing yg sangat2 stupid & outrageous?
A: Kevin Davies two footed sliding tackle on Clichy. Nak repeat another Eduardo ker? Stoopid KD.

Q: The unexpected performance?
A: Eboueeeeeeeeee. For the first time, i really felt his presence in our midfield play.

Q: The most stoopid un-sportmanship comments made?
A: From Kevin Nolan.

Q: The most expensive sahur bill?
Nasi goreng ayam for 4 pax, and lots & lots of red bull's accumulating to RM50++ for me, Amri, Tan Sri Zafuan & Jeff NZ Hohohoho. Watched the game with the guys from AFCSM again at KTM's Mamak hotspot.

YeahYeahhh

Aku takde laptop sendiri yg canggih dan berwallpaperkan team Arsenal.

Aku juga bukan seorang gamers yg gila bermain game online Warcraft & Counterstrike.

Malah aku juga bukan seorang kaki download drama2 siri tv best2 mcm Grey's Anatomy, Prison Break, CSI, Lipstick Jungle, dan sebagainya.

Tapi Death Magnetic punya pasal, aku mengeffortkan diri aku untuk belaja mentorrent (ya saya budak baru belajar, joloklah saya dengan galah)
Hasilnya amat memuaskan sekali.

Sekarang on the way balik kerja boleh goyangkan kepala atas bawah dalam kereta tanpa menghiraukan traffic jam yang amat :)

Note to self: Need to change the whole rusted strings on the Esp quick before the magnetic riffs got stuck in my head.

Gunners Mode: Cold War in Kiev

Last night Champions league group stage match took us to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kiev. We were still without Nasri to kick-start our midfield with. However, Song was included in the starting list acting as a central mid (Flamster role). The rest was our full first team players.

It was never an easy moment for the Gunners playing in a cold weather. Even in England, winter season saw us struggle a bit to maintain our game consistency. Knowing the fact that Kiev IS a difficult place to go and have full three points, Wenger did pointed out earlier that our target is to earn at least one point at the Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium.

Dynamo with full support of the home fans, gain majority of ball posession throughout the game. In my opinion, we did struggle to match their pace. It almost seems like they were the one who were playing the 'arsenal-way' instead of us. We did have an array of chances to take the lead. The most stood out chances were the one with adebayor going one one one with the goalkeeper after an error backpass by Dynamo's defend. And Adebayor being Adebayor (biase ler kan..) hit the ball off wide. AARGHH !! Ape ni Ade !?!? Clear cut chances tu !!! Go back to basic la belajar menendang balik. Isk.. hangin betul.

Its 0-0 by the end of the 1st half. During the 2nd half on the 60+ mins, Sagna was defending the box from Dynamo's free kick when suddenly this most upfront Dynamo guy wrapped his arm around Sagna and brought him down. Boleh pulak the Ref awarded a penalty kick out of favor to Sagna. Bongok nye ref. Kesian aku tgk Sagna, terpinga-pinga je innocently in disbelief. Rempit face Ismael Bangoura sent Almunia flying the wrong way and they now took a 1-0 lead. It seems like they gain more confidence after the lead, as they kept on attacking us repeatedly in search for their 2nd.

With 30 mis left, an act of deperation saw Wenger brought in Bendtner, Vela and Eboue. When Eboue came in the final 10 mins, i know its gung-ho all the way now to secure a point. He's not 100% fit yet since he got knocked in our last league game against Blackburn. But we need someone with his quality to change the game tempo as Song's performance was to me a bit dissapointing. It finally paid off in the 88th mins as Walcott whipped out a low cross just to find the Kapitan Gallas at the farthest end to blast in the equalizer. Wahlauuu.. very late one.. sakit jantung maa.. Mcm ni la yg nak marah ni. Dah ketinggalan baru nak main mcm ni. Masa tgh 0-0 tadi semua tanak serious. Haishh... Kalau tidak, mesti dah boleh menang dah.

Hangin satu badan...

Buffet McD

Aku mengidam Buffet Ramadhan McD seperti yg pernah ada pada tahun2 lepas. Mengapa tahun ni dah takde? isk isk..

Maybe sebab dah tak profitable buat Buffet Ramadhan ni bila adanya org2 pelahap Big Mac macam aku..

Kesimpulannya harini aku akan melampiaskan nafsu pada roti john 'unan' & cream caramel instead. Big Mac drive-thru for sahur kalau larat, coz esok cuti :)

Gunners Mode: Black-burned to ashes

Yesterday we paid a visit to Ewood Park for an away game with Blackburn. 1st team line-up was the usual ones with the exception of Nasri (still being rested for his knee problem, tu laa.. byk sgt ermm.. tade ape, heh). Walcott earned himself a start after a superb hatrick hero performance for England team against Croatia in the previous WCQ match.

The result? A thrashing 4-0 win for us with a hat-trick from Adebayor & a goal from RVP. Im not very happy with Adebayor though. Often caught in the offsides position and that irks me a lot. As for the hat-trick, well.. good for him. That will partly justify the insane amount of wage that he had requested during pre-season. But no cocky goal celebration please.. U r not consistent enough to do just that and to celebrate ala Henry-esque.

Ok Ok.. i guess im still mad at him for his off season antics, heh. But overall, we played very well. Slick passing, good link-up between the players. Just a minor setback on the defense. A bit shaky when dealing with high ball n crosses especially against big tough opposition forwards like Santa Cruz. Have to be wary for the likes of Dean Ashton, John Carew, Yakubu type next time.

For the 1st time ever, myself & amri decided to join the mates from Arsenal FC Supporter Malaysia (AFCSM) for the game. The venue was at OLD KL RAILWAY STATION (near Masjid Negara). Appreciation goes to to Jeff for the invites and also to Mr. Anand, Mr. Sukumar, and the rest of the guys for the warm welcome. Will definitely join you guys again for the club activities & to watch future Arsenal matches.

Stumble Block

It's time to surrender
It's been too long pretending, there's no use in trying
When the pieces don't fit anymore
Pieces don't fit here anymore

A good one by James Morrison. No matter how hard we tried to make it happen. Sometimes when things are not meant to be, its just not meant to be.

A valuable lesson in life gain through experience.

And a very very painful one indeed.

28 and counting

Hello world..

Im in my own prison.

A stagnant piece of mind, with negativity buzzez from all angles, inside out.

Kena ada anjakan paradigma.

Kena explore new things & new teritory.

Kena keluar dari comfort zone.

Perjalanan aku mencari positivity kembali bermula... dari sekarang.

YOSSHHHH..!!!
